FRAMING |
| Although purchasing frames is
optional, they are available for most of the paintings
displayed. These are traditional, leafed and antiqued,
custom-made frames, ranging in widths from 3½" to 5". The raw moldings are joined before
decoration and finish are applied to give a seamless,
museum-quality appearance. |
| Frames are available in a variety
of styles and cost about $27 per running foot for
simulated silver or gold leafing. To
calculate cost, add the height and width dimensions of the
painting; divide by 6 to get the total length in feet;
multiply by $27 for the total cost. |
| Real gold leaf is available for
approximately double the cost per foot. |
| Here are some sample frame
styles the artist commonly uses. All frames can be finished in either a
silvery 12-karat look or a full gold color. |
