The painting, Evening in the Hills, has been juried into the California Art Club's 101st Annual Gold Medal Exhibition to be held next April at the Autry National Center of the American West in Los Angeles.

David's painting, Chinese Temple, Mendocino, appears in the new book,
"CALIFORNIA LIGHT: A Century of Landscapes."

"In 1909 the California Art Club was founded and since then our artists, patrons, and visionaries have worked to capture the beauty of California's landscapes . . . A first-of-its-kind monograph, California Light, by Jean Stern and Molly Siple, offers up a comprehensive look at the Club's paintings over the past one hundred years. Evensong was a featured lot at the 34th Annual Mendocino Art Auction. A beautiful 18"x 24" poster of the image, advertising the Auction, is available from the artist for $15 plus shipping and handling. All proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Mendocino. Evensong click to enlarge  

Hyperion Records of London, England, a fine classical music label, chose David's painting Finale, for the CD cover of an album of sacred choral music by contemporary British composer, Antony Pitts.
